About Alison Curtis, Gold Coast & Brisbane Calligrapher

Calligrapher, engraver and workshop teacher

Alison works from her studio in Nobby Beach, within Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast. She holds a Bachelor of 3D Design from Griffith University.

From her Gold Coast base, Alison works with brands, couples and private clients across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Northern NSW and wider Southeast Queensland, with travel available for live events and brand activations.

After a decade in corporate work, Alison returned to art through calligraphy. She developed her lettering skills through practice and advanced workshops, and has run Creative Inking since 2009.

Her work includes gift-tag calligraphy for Burberry at Queens Plaza, bauble painting for Gucci at Pacific Fair, and engraving at Westfield Carindale. She also takes studio commissions and teaches calligraphy and hand engraving.
